Create your first app
Beautiful.dev makes it simple to start building. Follow the steps below to create your first app.
1. Describe your idea
On the homepage, enter a short description of what you want to build.
Good to know
You can be specific if needed, but keeping the initial prompt focused and not overly complex usually produces faster, cleaner results.
Examples:
- “A landing page for my coffee brand”
- “A simple tool to track monthly expenses”
- “A small app where users can buy digital products”
After submitting your idea the AI agent will begin generating your application and preparing the first deployment.
2. View the initial preview
Once the first preview is ready, it appears on the right side of the project page.
This is a live version of your app that updates as changes are made.
If you want to open the preview in a separate window, click Preview in the top-right corner.
3. Continue building
After the initial deployment, you can refine or expand your application by sending additional messages.
Common follow-up actions include:
- Adding new features
- Adjusting layout or styling
- Fixing or improving existing sections
- Uploading visuals (via the
Attachbutton) when your request requires images or other files
Each new request triggers the AI agent to update your project and redeploy a new preview.
